It’s hard to comprehend, but the twins turned three recently! They’ve been really into Paw Patrol lately so we decided on a Paw Patrol theme, with their favorite characters, Chase and Skye, being the focus. This party theme ended up being very easy to execute and very budget friendly.
We used a “Let’s Pawty” balloon that I found on Amazon to greet guests. I built a rainbow balloon arch with some dollar store balloons and balloon garland tape, also from Amazon.
The babies demanded a “pink cake” and “blue cake,” so I baked them small 8″ round cakes and served a sheet cake. The individual cakes were decorated with Happy Birthday signs from Target and Paw Patrol finger puppets that were a big hit to play with after the party as well!
Rainbow balloon towers were around the food table topped with large Skye and Chase character balloons. These are my favorite project to make for birthday parties and I’m sure that I enjoy them more than the kids do at this point! We also used a metallic “woof” balloon to drive the party theme home.
Lastly, guests were asked to dress up in Paw Patrol character masks and take the “pawfect” picture. Goodie bags with themed treats went home with all the attending puppies!
It truly seems like just yesterday that I was counting the minutes to meet these two and I can’t believe that I’ve blinked my eyes, and now they are three. The old cliches about time flying the older that you get are so true and I am trying to make it a point to slow down and enjoy these days while they last.
